SCIENCE DAY 🧪

4BC tested how sound travelled through different materials such as glass, wood and bricks!

They used a decibel reader to measure the volume of sound!
4BC worked well in teams to create a protective barrier around their eggs to stop them from cracking! They used a range of materials such as bubble wrap, nappies and helmets to ensure the eggs were protected! The eggs were dropped from a height of two metres and 3 out of the 6 tables were successful in fully protecting their eggs! Well done! 🏆
4BC compared Roman bridges (aqueducts) to the Golden Gate Bridge which links to our topic of Road Trip USA. They compared the bridges designs, purposes and the machinery used.
