SCIENCE DAY πŸ§ͺ

4BC tested how sound travelled through different materials such as glass, wood and bricks!

They used a decibel reader to measure the volume of sound!
4BC worked well in teams to create a protective barrier around their eggs to stop them from cracking! They used a range of materials such as bubble wrap, nappies and helmets to ensure the eggs were protected! The eggs were dropped from a height of two metres and 3 out of the 6 tables were successful in fully protecting their eggs! Well done! πŸ†
4BC compared Roman bridges (aqueducts) to the Golden Gate Bridge which links to our topic of Road Trip USA. They compared the bridges designs, purposes and the machinery used.

  1. Which material does sound travel through most effectively? It looks like you have written up your findings beautifully.
